I made a short video of the BioSignature body fat and hormonal balance measuring method, which you can view above. Going to see Fred the last time before this one to get my body fat measured, I knew that the number had gone up. I've been involved with nutrition and training for long enough to notice even the smallest changes in my body. The total gain in body mass in eight days leading up to last week's measuring was 2.3kg and as I expected, my body fat had also gone up by 0.4% or 2mm between 10 skin folds, which is not much. It felt like it was more. Still, I decided to tone it down a notch to test my nutrition strategy in battle - the goal being lowering body fat while putting on lean mass. The last measuring, which you are reading about right ...

A Delicious Nutritious Meal Is All You Need
Thus far I've mostly been talking about my training and the body fat measuring results. Well, now is as good time to open another door and let you have sneak peek at my daily nutrition. I finished cooking and eating moments ago and while being at it I decided to document it for you so you can get an idea of what a meal in my day looks like. I had an afternoon BJJ session before lunch, so I picked the foods accordingly. Here is what I had: 1. Slow fried pork 2. White rice 3. Bone Broth 4. Butter 5. Sea salt and curcumin for flavor

I started with preparing the pork

Then slow fried the pork in palm fat

MBC: How Long is Rapid Muscle Growth Sustainable For?
I'm 17 days into my Muscle Building Challenge and things are still steadily improving. As I explained in yesterday's post, last week was as busy as rush hour in NYC, which is why it took me so long to post my latest measurements, taken at the beginning of last week. I'm not going to keep you waiting for that long again. I went to see Fred yesterday evening to get this week's numbers. I'll post them together with the chart from the previous week again so you can compare. Being 17 days in and still making constant progress has given me a lot of confidence in my methods. See, the goal I set before taking on this project, wasn't just to see how much weight I can gain, but rather how much lean body mass I can gain, meaning that my body fat percentage has to be more or ...

MBC: Changes During The First 10 Days – 2.5kg of Lean Mass!
Last week was chaotic and therefor I excused myself of writing. Posting an update got pushed back until people started asking me what was going on. So here it is, all you hardcore fans. :) I didn't train as much last week as I wrote in my initial training plan. I only had 2 MMA classes and thus worked a lot harder and lifted heavier in the gym. The number of weight lifting days last week came to a total of 4. Not too bad. The progress is ongoing as you'll see shortly, which is why I don't see the need to change anything drastically. I've been playing around with nutrients and portion sizes depending on my physical activity and judging by the way i look and feel. I went to see Fred last Monday to get the new skin fold measurements and to see how much my lean mass and body ...
